“A Hebrew Midwife’s Story is a fictional story and repost from last year. A few years ago archaeologists uncovered the tomb of Salome, a midwife believed to be the midwife of Jesus. The Bible doesn’t talk about a midwife, but husbands did not deliver their wive’s babies in the first century. Neither did two people travel alone on the roads with a donkey because of bandits. They traveled in caravans and enjoyed the companionship of others. I encourage you to view this story from first a century, middle-eastern lens.
